“Colors and Shapes of Labor, from Signorini and Fattori to Pellizza Da Volpedo and Balla.”

Colors and Forms of Work: paintings and sculptures by those artists who after the Unification of Italy arranged a new figuration of history, whereby to be represented in images are no longer the heroes, poets and saints, but the common people caught in their daily reality, in the toil of work above all, in the fields and workshops as in the home or in the workshop, but also in the pain and misery that always gives the lack of work.
